Best feeling after a long shift? Taking your hair down, earrings off, and shoes and bra off. Oh my god, now I just need a shower.
the best thing about the internet is that eye contact doesnt exist
Here’s the thing - when, for as long as you’ve been alive someone’s been famous, you take them for granted. They’ve always been there, so they always will be. It’s why people (well, most people below a certain age) don’t get super excited over movies from people like Meryl Streep or a new album from someone who was famous in the 70s and 80s. We appreciate the fuck out of them, but even if we know it’s not true, in our own heads, we’re convinced they’ll always be around because they always have been around to us. Whereas we remember before someone like a member of the Glee cast or a Disney kid or whoever else was famous (or in our lives), so we know how they’ve impacted our lives.
But when they die? It’s horrible, because suddenly this person that’s always been around and has always been a public figure is gone. One day they’re not around, and we’re smacked in the face with the realisation that we’ll never hear anything from again, so we go crazy because, you know, a constant from our lives is gone. It’s not fake grief or being sad because everyone else is, it’s more shock that someone that seemed immortal and larger than life to us - for our entire lives - is suddenly not there.
This.
